As you say it was a provocation and personally I would make an example of him and give him 3 games as well.
I wont shed any tears over Fellaini though. He is owed about 20 red cards.

It always seems unfair when the retaliator is the only one punished , but I stand by what I said earlier that what Huth did, even though it was cynical, does not warrant a 3 match ban, but what Fellain did (2 viiolent swings of the elbow) does. I'd be very surprised if Huth is charged.

Fellaini is an astonishing player
Virtually every match I have seen him play he has done one or more things that should have seen him sent off.
He is about 9 ft tall and has hair that makes him conspicuous yet referees never seem to see anything.
